This event marked one of the key milestones in the philosopher's life, as he remained there for the rest of his academic career. Kant rightfully joined the ranks of outstanding scientists and philosophers working there. His own understanding and knowledge of philosophy rapidly developed at the University, and he began writing his first works on the subject.
